Wedi Ireng Beach

Wedi Ireng Beach is one of the beach tourism destinations in Banyuwangi. The naming of Wedi Ireng Beach is the color of the sand. In Javanese, Wedi means sand, while Ireng means black. But in plain view, the coastline in the form of the letter W is pure white. But if you look closely, there are a few mixes of black in some locations of this beach. Even when dredging white sand, behind it is deep black sand.

The beach is located in the Meru Betiri National Park area. Precisely in the village of Pancer, Subdistrict Pesangaran - Banyuwangi. The charm of nature and the hills that surround it are like the hidden heaven. Located in a row of South Beach, Wedi Ireng Beach does not have dangerous waves. The quiet bay, the clean white sand, the shade of tropical trees and the cool breeze is the perfect package to enjoy the blue of the sea before your eyes.

Access to Wedi Ireng:

To reach Wedi Ireng it is quite close from Pulau Merah, only about 5 km to the pancer. From here we will choose a different route. The land route will follow the hills through a fairly steep road. Sea route by renting a fishing boat that every day rests on the coast. If you choose to go by sea, we have to spend around Rp.25,000 / one ship with safety jacket facilities.
